A beautiful antique English sterling silver jewellery box, fully hallmarked in Birmingham and finished with an engraved “U” monogram on the lid.
The shaped casket rests on four elegant feet and opens to reveal its original vibrant blue velvet-lined interior, complete with ring slots. Fine engine-turned and foliate engraving gives the lid wonderful period character.
The silver retains a naturally aged patina, surface wear and marks consistent with its age—part of the character of an authentic antique piece.
