Description
A handsome antique gold-filled watch chain featuring curb links, a T-bar and an unusual black intaglio swivel locket fob. The glossy black intaglio is finely carved with the profile of a classical helmeted warrior and reverses to a polished black face.
The fob swivels within its engraved frame and opens to reveal a small locket compartment — a particularly charming survivor from the era of gentleman’s watch chains.
Clasp stamped “J. FS SONS – 1/6”, indicating gold-filled/rolled-gold construction.
