Beautifully detailed filigree brooch with a large oval cut amethyst stone set in the centre, and lots of seed pearls set all around. This brooch can be worn as a pin, or as a pendant with a bail that flips up and down.
One claw set oval cut natural amethyst, measuring 14.50 x 12.00 x 8.15mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 8.71ct, clarity is eye clean, medium light, moderately strong, purple colour, cut is very good. Bead set with fifty half seed pearls, measuring 2.0mm to 1.4mm wide each.
